The SILO range is said to be suitable for saving space, time and cost, as well as enhancing safety.

It suits applications with small or large floor space available, light goods, small parts, long, heavy or bulky items.

The company says: “SILO VLMs are high-tech, fully automated vertical storage systems with shifting trays that operate on the “goods-to-person” principle, using the ceiling height to increase the storage capacity.”

Compared with traditional storage solutions, SILO VLM can save up to 90% of floor space.

The SILO range includes four different models, each designed to meet specific intralogistics requirements.

  • SILO² is the multi-column VLM with over 1 billion possible configurations, as standard.
  • SILOPlus is the multi-column VLM designed for the storage and high frequency picking of light loads (max. 100kg).
  • SILOL is the multi-purpose single-column VLM designed for the high-density storage of a variety of items differing in type, size, weight or shape.
  • SILOXL is the single-column VLM for the safe storage and handling of long and / or heavy items, with a load capacity of 1,000kg each.

The multi-column models allow for the creation of storage systems from 2 up to 7 columns.
