Water de-ioniser system
Specialist supplier of battery accessories for the maintenance and servicing of forklift trucks, UK Powertech has launched PURAFLO, a new water de-ionising system.
As a part of battery maintenance, it is recommended that water levels are checked every couple of weeks and topped up when necessary. The quality of the water used in this process is also a major factor in prolonging the life and efficiency of the battery to ensure the electrolyte levels and acid SGs are kept at the correct levels.
According to MD, Mark Rigby: “There are very few areas in the UK that can provide the quality of water on tap so, water de-ionisers are key to successfully maintaining batteries. We decided to manufacture our own product so we could guarantee that what we are offering our customers is of the same high quality as the rest of the battery accessories we sell.”
