Wholly owned subsidiary of the Acumen Logistics Group, Acumen Distribution has invested in an Optima Warehouse Management System for its 50,000ft2 facility in Halewood, Liverpool to cater for new business from July 2014.
Improving the warehousing process, the modular system provides benefits including order downloading, efficient storing in the right location and conditions, pick/pack, despatch and inventory. It can also import orders, track stock, record despatches and produce real time reports for clients and end customers.
Comprising 3500 pallet spaces as well as bulk storage, picking areas, offices and ancillary areas, the warehouse facility is situated in Speke Boulevard close to Junction 6 of the M62 and the Halewood manufacturing plant of Jaguar Land Rover.
