Yorkshire 3PL wins major contract with High Street retailer
CPL 3PL has won a major contract to provide a full logistics service for a nationwide retailer.
Sean Metham, general manager at CPL 3PL said: “We have seen our business expand significantly in the last 12 months as UK warehouse space is in demand, which has come about, in many cases, due to firms preparing for Brexit. We have secured a number of major logistics contracts as customers recognise our efficient handling and distribution service. We are continuing to enhance our service to customers as part of delivering the most comprehensive logistics system available.”
A good example of this is the contract that CPL 3PL won with Manttra UK, which is a global manufacturer of cookware products, in May last year. Since then, CPL 3PL has developed bespoke programmes to assist stock control and reporting for the customer, as well as providing an efficient handling and distribution service.
The company offers a ‘one stop shop’, pick, pack and ship solution to online retailers and manufacturers, regardless of size.
Sean Metham continues: “What makes us different is that we look where we can add value to our customers’ business operations on a daily basis. This may involve streamlining their logistics process or utilising technology to improve stock control. We have a proven track record of being an efficient and reliable partner for any business’s long-or-short term logistics requirements.”
CPL 3PL has been in the warehousing business since 1972 and has a secure 140,000 sq ft bonded storage facility and an experienced logistics team of more than 100 employees.
During the past five decades, the company has provided high quality warehouse, distribution and order fulfilment solutions to companies across the UK. Its customers range from large multi-chain retailers to small independent companies. Located in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, the company has excellent transport links and is within easy reach of the M1, M18 and wider motorway network.
