Multi channel fulfilment and returns

10 December 2020

Luxury department store Liberty has warded a multi-year contract to Clipper Logistics.

Clipper has been providing logistics solutions for Liberty since 1997. Clipper’s partnership with Liberty has seen flexible solutions created to support multiple bespoke services.

Under the new agreement, the contract renewal will see Clipper continue to provide multi channel fulfilment and returns operations for Liberty’s Retail Store, eCommerce and Liberty wholesale. Further to this, Clipper will provide solutions to support The Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar, gift with purchase promotions and brand collaborations. Clipper will continue to work closely with Liberty in supporting future growth plans while further optimising the operational solution, centred on opportunities surrounding space, storage media, systemic enhancements and automation while striving to enhance efficiency.

Liberty head of logistics Laurie Neatherway said: “I am delighted to have entered a long-term partnership with Clipper. This year the team have delivered a challenging change programme increasing output through both capacity and efficiency enhancements. This has resulted in an outstanding performance against a backdrop of record Ecommerce growth with despatching volumes 100% up year on year. I look forward to building on these achievements with Clipper in the coming years.”

Tony Mannix, CEO at Clipper added: “We are delighted to continue working with Liberty. The long-standing partnership is a testament to our agility matched by ability ethos. We are looking forward to supporting Liberty’s future growth.”
