SDI reshuffles management team

SDI Group UK has announced a number of changes to its UK management team designed to strengthen its offering in Europe.

The decision follows a number of wins in recent months including the design and build of four automated facilities for Decathlon across Europe and new sortation centres for Guess Jeans and Coop in Italy.

Mike Hilton will take the role of European sales director and will work alongside Darcy de Thierry. Group CEO Gordon Smith will take over as GM in the UK.

Smith said: “Over the past 2 years we have driven significant changes within our business in order to strengthen our offering across Europe where we see many opportunities and it is vital that we have the right calibre of people in place to support this.”
