Real-time monitoring

Fast growing supplier of interactive warehouse management solutions, DeltaWMS, is launching a new version of its flagship DeltaWMS system that will allow users to configure their own KPIs and monitor performance in real-time.

Other advances in DeltaWMS version 6.0 (which will be on show at the June 2010 Logistics Link Live event) include a dock diary system that uses automation to increase the speed and efficiency of the warehouse docking area, and the facility to attach images to goods receipt/dispatch transactions to, for example, record damaged goods in.

Additional improvements include full advance shipment notification (ASN) support, which is increasingly mandated by major retailers to ensure compliance of both picking and xdock operations; and a new, locationindependent picking facility developed for fresh food suppliers and other users requiring high volume scan picks that are unconstrained by location or pallet management.
