Nightfreight renews deal

Jungheinrich has renewed its contract with network solutions provider Nightfreight for a further three years.

As part of the deal, Nightfreight will be responsible for the management of the inbound supply chain of new trucks from Jungheinrich's manufacturing plants in Germany for the UK market, in a move designed to improve tracking and visibility through the supply chain from factory to customer delivery.

Steve Clarke, purchasing and logistics manager at Jungheinrich, says: "Over the past three years Nightfreight has played a valuable role within our business. Its transport solution has helped us deliver a first class service to our customers."
