Transdek's V2G (Vehicle-To-
Ground) Loading System, offers
operators an advance in handling
technology with enhanced safety and
security for the loading and
unloading of goods vehicles at sites
without raised docks.
The V2G is installed directly on to the yard slab within a day, without the requirement for any pre-dug pits.
Supplied as a pre-clad, pre-tested loadhouse unit, the loading system provides a ready-made temperaturecontrolled environment between vehicles and the warehouse.
"It can unload a full vehicle in less than 45 minutes, the equivalent time allowed with raised docks and dock levellers at most retail sites," says Leon Butler, operations director.
"The V2G also offers a high level of future-proofing for distribution operators. Because of its extended lift stroke and unique hydraulics configuration, it can service any mix of delivery vehicles: both the single deck trailers of today, and the growing double deck fleets of tomorrow.
"And the same design features that enable the V2G's rapid installation also allow us to relocate the units quickly and cost effectively, giving our customers flexibility."
