Warehouse automation supplier
KNAPP has won a coveted MM
Logistik Award at the recent CeMAT
logistics exhibition in Hanover.
The Austrian-owned group was one of only ten winners of the highly prized accolade, scooping the award in the software category for its innovative warehouse software module, KiSoft Mobile Warehousing.
Gerald Hofer, chief executive of customer relations and managing board member at KNAPP, accepted the award from Ken Fouhy, publisher of the German trade magazines MM Logistik and MM Maschinenmarkt, at a presentation ceremony during the exhibition.
KNAPP's KiSoft Mobile Warehousing ensures process optimisation independent of location, with mobile handling of all processes throughout the warehouse.
With the capability for processes such as goods integration and order picking to be provided on transport vehicles, this module opens up a range of possibilities for optimisation across the supply chain, including the possibility of crossdocking on the move.
