Platform for export success

Leading forklift truck accessory provider, Contact Attachments, is celebrating international success after securing a prestigious ports and docks contract. The Mid Wales-based company has designed and manufactured a bespoke aerial rescue platform to help ports and docks management authorities salvage injured crew from ships. The product has been produced especially for H.E.F., a long-standing client of the company in Belgium, and has already been installed at Antwerp docks.

The innovative platform is capable of holding up to eight people plus a stretcher, has self-closing and automatic-locking gates for additional security, and is also protected by a salt-resistant coating to ensure the steelwork is not corroded by seawater.
