Toyota Material Handling has won an iF Gold Product Design Award for its BT Optio low level order picker. The L-series was awarded the highest international juries' recognition for its functionality and design. This

design. This follows
similar awards for
the BT Levio
powered pallet truck and
the Toyota Traigo 48 electric
counterbalance forklift in 2009.
It is reported that the BT Optio Lseries
excelled in all of the categories
judged: quality design, choice of
materials, safety,
durability, ergonomics
and low
environmental impact.
BT Optio L-series was developed with a focus on the Smooth Operator concept and aims to provide the best possible working conditions for operators.
