Paternoster gets preview

Provider of industrial and commercial storage solutions, Dexion, used Logistics Link South to showcase a range of its space-saving solutions and innovative products.

Among the equipment on display was the P90 I-beam range of cleaner, smarter and more cost-effective pallet racking solutions along with the Hi280 industrial shelving system.

Visitors also had the opportunity to preview the new Paternoster vertical storage machines which can save up to 70% on floor space, help reduce picking errors by two thirds and optimise picking times, particularly when a batch process is being used. The Paternoster and Tornado storage machines will be launched in the UK later this year.

The company also showed its CWIS software, which uses warehouse principles and 3D simulation to recreate warehouse material and workflow and allows organisations to optimise stock locations, working methods, picking routines and storage system layout.
