GAME has built a facility for a dry
pet food manufacturer. The client
was installing an extrusion and
coating line and required a transfer
system and intermediate storage and
screening facility prior to packing to
avoid hold up in production.
GAME developed a solution which meant the client had two extra product storage bins, each with a capacity of approximately 14 tonnes of extruded product from the coolers, filling via a new UNITRAK conveyor. Each had a metering belt feeder discharge into a UNITRAK conveying system to the existing packing line. All contact parts to the plant were in stainless steel.
The second part of the project was to supply two vacuum line return systems to a twin tote station for reuse in the blending plant. These picked up fines from the sieving and drying system within the new plant.
