'An Introduction to Machine Safety' will take place from 1pm-5pm at the Leuze office in St Neots, Cambridgeshire on August 15.
Kevin Ellison, technical support engineer at Leuze electronic will present an introduction to machine safety topics including:
·                  IS EN 13849, CE , & PUWER requirements.
·                  Current and forthcoming legislation.
·                  Standards and their implications.
·                  Machine Safety Inspection.
·                  Safety Components.
·                  Free tools and resources from Leuze electronic.
Ellison said “These sessions have always proved popular, as have the evening sessions we do for the IET, but even we are surprised by how quickly July's sessions filled up. The workshops are designed to give a simple introduction to the issues, the legislation, as well as giving sources of advice for machine safety and this easy going approach seems to be welcomed."
Information on the workshop and lots of advice and information on machine safety is on Leuze's website atwww.leuze.co.uk, but they are keen to discuss the workshop, take bookings, and offer advice at their office on 01480 408 500.
While the session will start at 1pm, Leuze invite attendees to join them for pizza and a chat before at 12.30pm.
