Norbert Dentressangle has secured a major contract extension with sporting goods company Amer Sports. Under the 10-year agreement, Norbert Dentressangle will be responsible for the European logistics operation of all Amer’s clothing, footwear and cycling ranges.

A global leader in the sporting goods industry, Amer Sports group is headquartered in Finland and is home to a number of internationally famous brands, including Mavic (cycling), Wilson (racquet and ball sports), Suunto (sports watches and instruments), Salomon, Arc’teryx and Atomic (winter sports).
In support of the operation, Norbert Dentressangle is building a new, 52,000m² automated warehouse at Saint Vulbas in the Lyon area, which is expected to be complete in 2015. This innovative solution will improve customer service by enhancing preparation capacity and reducing order processing time, at the same time as optimising the use of storage space.
