A tool to boost safety compliance
04 September 2014
Maintaining best practices and ensuring compliance with standards can often be a time-consuming and demanding process.
Unfortunately, this essential practice is sometimes neglected, and too often the press tell us tragic stories of operators who have been injured or killed in the workplace. To make the industry safer, training organisations must have expert knowledge and information at their finger-tips.
A new resource provided by RTITB aims to help its training providers meet the standards set down in the ACoP. From initial training records to risk assessments, RTITB’s Accreditation Toolkit collects, on one flash drive, forms used throughout the training life-cycle to help organisations maintain best practices and give employers confidence in purchasing RTITB training.
Operations director Laura Nelson said: "These forms will give instructors the time to get on with doing what they do best, safe in the knowledge that they are meeting the standards required for RTITB accreditation.”
RTITB hopes that by giving time back to instructors, more time can be invested in giving the industry the training it deserves.
