Multi-tier storage

11 February 2015

Dexion was asked to maximise space at a Phoenix Data Management secure document storage warehouse.

The Dexion Project team addressed several issues. The warehouse was constructed upon a car park, therefore the floor slab deviated up to 60mm within a relatively small distance; this combined with the pitch of the roof meant fluctuating roof heights of between 7 & 11 metres

Dexion P90 Pallet Racking, three tier archive storage system, with integral floors was proposed which would maximise storage. Through regular site meetings a programme was devised so that disruption was kept to a minimum.

Peter Barrett, sales director, Phoenix Data Management says: "The multi-tier racking has assisted us in maximising the space within our warehouse, much greater than if we had used a traditional mezzanine floor system.”
