KNAPP to showcase omnichannel strength at Internet Retailing Expo and IntraLogisteX

KNAPP has delivered a number of high-profile warehouse automation solutions in the UK, including systems for John Lewis, Boots, Clarks, British Gas and The Co-operative Pharmacy – all of which also have resident KNAPP service teams.

KNAPP has delivered its OSR Shuttle solution to a host of retailers worldwide – including John Lewis and Boots.com in the UK, with installations for Marks & Spencer and Staples also currently underway. The system feeds ergonomically designed picking stations with a constant flow of goods as required to fulfil orders. With an independent shuttle on every level of the storage cube, served by lifts at the aisle ends, the OSR Shuttle achieves up to six times the rate of totes in/out than a traditional automated storage and retrieval system, while having about 20% less footprint and only some 5% of the energy consumption. The Pick-it-Easy workstations fed by the OSR Shuttle feature KNAPP’s KiSoft Pick-to-Light technology for paperless, display-guided fulfilment. To date, KNAPP has delivered over 15,000 shuttles in over 200 systems worldwide.

At the Internet Retailing show, KNAPP will be exhibiting on stand C31 within the eDelivery Expo area. At IntraLogisteX, KNAPP’s stand – number 195 – will be located in the AMHSA zone. The stands at both shows will also promote the solutions of garment-handling specialist and KNAPP group member, Dürkopp Fördertechnik.
