Manual handling for logistics industry
09 July 2015
A new manual handling training programme designed exclusively for professionals in the transport, warehousing and logistics sectors is now available from RTITB.

The course aims to ensure businesses comply with manual handling regulations, reduce handling injury risk and make sure money invested in manual handling training is not wasted on poor and irrelevant training.
The practical course enables candidates to learn and practice correct handling techniques in a controlled environment, allowing them to develop confidence before using their new skills in the workplace. Training culminates in an end test, providing employers with a real measurement of who is competent to undertake manual handling operations and anybody that requires further training.
