Jungheinrich makes four senior appointments to Systems division
02 October 2015
Jungheinrich UK has further strengthened its Systems & Projects Division with four key appointments.

The new starters are: Harry Chana and Simon Bourne (pictured) who take up roles as Design Managers for the Projects Operation; and Andy MacLeod and Stuart Orchard, who have been appointed as Racking Sales Managers for the Northern and Eastern regions respectively.
Design Manager, Harry Chana, will be based at the Warrington head office of Jungheinrich UK’s Systems & Projects Division. He has spent some two decades working with automated systems technology and has particular expertise in the automotive sector where he has been involved in the design and implementation of systems of various sizes and complexity for both manufacturers as well as tier-one and tier-two suppliers.
Simon Bourne brings a wealth of experience to his Design Manager role. A former Royal Navy engineer, he has a track record of increasing productivity in fast moving operational environments. Simon has worked in the intralogistics sector for a number of years and joins Jungheinrich from Swisslog.
Formerly with Link 51, Andy Macleod will be responsible for sales of Jungheinrich’s racking systems in the north of the country. "I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with Jungheinrich,” he says. He continues: "The racking market is changing and more and more buyers want to acquire racking and storage systems from the same company that supplies their materials handling equipment, which makes Jungheinrich an extremely attractive proposition.”
Meanwhile, Stuart Orchard has the job of expanding Jungheinrich’s portfolio of racking clients in the East of the UK. He has spent over 20 years in the racking industry having started his career with Dexion and joins Jungheinrich from Apex.
Steve Richmond, Director of Jungheinrich UK Ltd’s Systems & Projects Division, commented: "These appointments further underscore Jungheinrich’s determination to grow its Systems and Projects Division.”
He continued: "Jungheinrich is able to supply and support an extensive range of intralogistics solutions and we are constantly looking to add the very best professionals in the industry to our team. I welcome Harry, Simon, Stuart and Andy to our company and feel sure that they will all share in our ongoing success."
