Tune into the BITO TV show

05 May 2016

A new film, made by ITN Productions and hosted by TV presenter Natasha Kaplinsky, takes a look inside Nuneaton-based BITO Storage Systems’ brand new purpose built office, show room, experience centre and distribution centre facility - which was officially opened in April 2016.

The film also offers an insight into the culture behind delivering successful ecommerce and intralogistics solutions.

With its full premier at the CILT Annual Conference and Dinner on 16 June 2016, the film conveys BITO’s growing momentum in providing customer-oriented intralogistics solutions and service capabilities in sectors including food and beverage, ecommerce, fashion retail, and pharmaceutical. Big name clients include ASDA, Lidl, Alliance, AAH, Phoenix Healthcare, Jaguar Landrover, Staples, Next, BMW and John Lewis.

In addition to hearing from BITO staff and an established customer, the film features the new distribution centre dealing with accelerating growth – particularly in the ecommerce sector - which has resulted in a significant increase in demand for a new warehouse and more efficient uses of space. The film also takes viewers through the company’s design process – which is the same whether the customer wants a few shelves or a full systems upgrade – demonstrating the expertise of BITO’s team.

Taking an ITN reporter around a set-up test procedure at the new facilities, the company’s managing director Edward Hutchison, explains how BITO’s pan-European operation enables the company to draw on local knowledge to design, manufacture and install storage systems across the continent – and build on that wealth of knowledge. Hutchison also details BITO’s plans for the future.

Edward Hutchison commented: “As I say in the film, BITO’s philosophy is ‘Perfection is our Passion’, which underlies each product and each service that we offer. I think this ITN production will give the UK logistics audience a perfect insight into the delivery of successful order picking and storage systems.”
