Toyota to support hauliers at the CV Show 2017
21 April 2017
Toyota Material Handling UK will be showcasing a range of solutions to help the transport industry at the Commercial Vehicle Show 25th - 27th April 2017 at NEC Birmingham.

The Toyota stand will be showcasing a selection of trucks which are suited to supporting the transport and haulage industries. Whether it's the movement of loads in distribution centres or loading and unloading from the back of delivery vehicles, Toyota's range of innovative solutions will help to improve the efficiency of operations.
On stand will be the new BT Levio LWE130 powered pallet truck. This entry level powered pallet truck has been designed to transport loads of up to 1300kg with ease. The LWE130 has a compact chassis and uses Click-2-Creep technology, making it easier to control and manoeuvre in confined spaces such as the back of delivery vehicles.
The truck features a built-in mains charger for easy and convenient charging. There is an option to have an in-vehicle charging system allowing the truck to be charged when being transported in delivery vehicles. This system features intelligent charging which will only charge the truck when the vehicle transporting it has its engine running.
Tony Wallis, Commercial Director at Toyota Material Handling UK, comments: "The transport and distribution industry is an important sector for Toyota. As members of the Road Haulage Association we have developed a good understanding of the industry and how we can help our customers to improve their operation. We pride ourselves on innovation and we have developed the LWE130 powered pallet truck to be easier to use and easier to charge, making it ideal for the transport and haulage industry".
The Toyota team will also be on stand to discuss any materials handling requirements and provide the best solution to support operational needs.
Wallis adds "Our Toyota team will be on hand to show visitors the quality and reliability of the Toyota range. Each member of our team is experienced in materials handling and will be able to discuss any operation with a customer and advise on the best solution to benefit their business".
