Five reasons to visit Toyota at the Health and Safety Event
26 March 2018
It’s just a few weeks until the Health and Safety Event at NEC, Birmingham on 10th - 12th April 2018 and we will be displaying a range of our equipment that is aimed at reducing manual handling and increasing safety.

The Toyota team will be on hand to provide advice, support and free safety resources to visitors who use materials handling equipment. In our latest blog post we give you 5 reasons why we think you should visit us at the Health and Safety Event.
Trucks
On stand HS208 we will be showcasing the BT Levio LWE130 lightweight powered pallet truck that is designed to move loads safely and efficiently. The BT Highlifter hand pallet truck (HHM100) will also be on stand, this truck can be used for moving goods quickly and easily and for raising loads to a comfortable working height. Additionally, we will be showcasing the Toyota Tracto TWE080N pedestrian tow tractor with roll cage. This is designed for easy movement of load carriers by reducing the need to move roll cages by hand, helping to avoid injuries such as trapped hands and feet.
Pro Lifter demonstration
Also on stand will be the BT Pro Lifter manual hand pallet truck that can be demonstrated to give visitors an insight into how helpful it is to move loads. This truck features Pro Start technology that helps to get loads moving easily, requiring 67% less effort from the operator than a standard hand pallet truck.
Speakers
We will once again be holding workshops in the Safer Logistics Seminar Theatre at the show. Keith Smith and Paul Mulcahy will be discussing the benefits of using powered equipment to combat back problems and the importance of health and safety in materials handling operations. Keith will be speaking on Tuesday 10th at 2:10pm and Wednesday 11th at 11:45am and Paul will be speaking on Thursday 12th at 12:40pm. Make sure you get down to see them; you can find out more about their workshops here.
Safety resources
On stand our team will be handing out free safety resources to help visitors to improve safety and productivity in their operation, these include forklift safety guides, manual handling guides and several best practice posters.

Dave Rylance, our counterbalance product manager, will be on stand discussing the various safety features on our counterbalance forklifts.
