Free conference focuses on depot-to-depot safety

20 October 2017

CILT has unveiled a safety conference for November 8 entitled Delivering Safety First, this year’s Transport & Logistics Safety Forum Conference.

It focuses on the safety and security of the load, the driver, the vehicle and the delivery process itself giving delegates an opportunity to explore the issues and concerns which are at the top of their fleet operator agenda and how these might be addressed while networking with like-minded individuals in an open, constructive and non-threatening environment.

There is a strong line-up of speakers who will share their expertise and the tools and best practice available to ensure a safe and secure delivery process. Delegates will have an opportunity to ask questions to the expert panel and view a number of demonstrations to corroborate the conference and the advice provided by speakers.

The line-up includes:

• Dave Higginbottom FCILT, CEO, Driver First Assist: Post Collision Scene Management: Bespoke Training for Drivers who are First on the Scene.
