15 October 2019
Amara, the luxury homewares and accessories e-tailer, has agreed a deal Clipper for bespoke e-fulfilment services.

Clipper began relief operations to support the Amara business in August 2019 to ensure continuity during a period of change. The new operation is now live and is located at one of the Clipper flagship sites in Northampton. To accommodate the operation an additional 140k sq ft of operational space was constructed along with the necessary recruitment to support the activity.
Steve Parkin, executive chairman at Clipper Logistics says: “We are delighted to be working with Amara, and by working in partnership the team have created a more comprehensive solution to meet the needs of the business – with a focus on customer care, speed of fulfilment and efficiency. We are looking forward to supporting Amara’s growth and further demonstrating our agility matched by ability ethos – while continuing to deliver strong service levels.”
Andrew Hood, CEO at Amara adds: “We are delighted to be working with Clipper and as we intend to grow our product SKUs by 40% over the year to January 2020 we needed a partner who could help us realise this ambition – Clipper have clearly demonstrated that they can help us to deliver our plan.”
