According to FDL, the most telling
ingredient in its 40 years of growth
has been its role of valued packaging
efficiency advisor, helping customers
towards efficient solutions to reduce
the impact of waste efficiency targets
and increased raw material costs.
In 2000 FDL introduced its 'Packaging Efficiency Audit' to help companies develop cost effective and logistical packaging programmes.
Although fully committed to fibre-based solutions, the company recognises that industry needs a wide range of packaging options, so it offers a solution for any task, taking in fibre, steel and plastic drums.
It recently invested in the development of new coatings and lining mediums for fibre drums and plans to further extend its fibre drum market.
