Toyota has invested in a new purpose built facility in Glasgow. The new centre opened this month and provides a convenient base for the service and account management teams in the region, strengthening Toyota's presence in Scotland.
The new depot is located in the Glasgow Business Park located near to junction 9 of the M8 motorway. The facility features a demonstration area to display and demonstrate a full range of counterbalance forklifts and warehouse equipment to customers.
Commenting on the openings, Tony Wallis, operations director, Toyota Material Handling UK said: "Toyota has a reputation for excellence on a global scale but it is only by acting locally that we have earned the highest levels of customer satisfaction in our industry.
"Scotland continues to be an important customer base for Toyota. Investing in this region is part of our commitment to providing our customers high levels of local support both direct and through our stragtically positioned regional dealers.
"With over 500 Toyota trained service technicians operating across the UK and an increasing number of regional sites, wherever a customer is in the UK, Toyota is close at hand."
