A leading UK provider of forklift
truck attachments has designed and
developed a unique product to help
one of its customers solve a complex
loading conundrum.
Contact Attachments, based in Mid Wales, supplied a special mechanical scoop to Priory Cast Stone, which has enabled the firm to conveniently load their mixers with sand and limestone in a simple and efficient way.
John O'Hare, commercial director at Priory Cast Stone, says: "We are delighted with this new product and, with its highly functional measuring characteristics, we are now able to gauge exactly how much sand and limestone we are loading. Not only that, but it has also eliminated the need for our team to manually load the mixers by hand, which has saved us considerable time and effort." Fabricated using 6-8mm thick steel to ensure long-lasting durability, the Multi-Scoop boasts long-reach capabilities to help unload material into the centre of lorries as well as a shallow tipping arc allowing convenient discharge where headroom is confined.
David Manuel, technical sales consultant at Contact Attachments, says: "Our range of forklift mechanical scoops are highly regarded in the industry for their quality of build and workmanship, and offer our customers a safe, reliable and efficient way of adapting their forklift trucks into an effective loading shovel."
