Busy Times At Bendi

The summer months have been far from sleepy lazy days at Bendi. Our order books have been filled to bursting, far surpassing anything we have seen before.

The summer months have been far from sleepy lazy days at Bendi. Our order books have been filled to bursting, far surpassing anything we have seen before.
So why are more companies turning to Bendi? Well this year has seen an unprecedented number of new customers joining the Bendi Warehouse Revolution, all profiting in one way or another. We have helped customers who needed additional storage capacity, some who wanted to improve operating efficiencies and reduce the number of MHE on site, and we have saved a customer thousands of pounds by offering a total storage solution, which meant they didn't have to build an expensive factory extension.
This has kept us all very busy at Bendi as its many product derivatives mature into the daily terminology of the logistics world all over the globe, the Bendi truly has come of age. A far cry from its roots back in 1982 when my father was almost laughed off the pages of the logistics press with headlines like "the truck bends but will the customer". It still amazes me that he had the conviction to forge a new Market sector that today represents half the reach trucks sold into the UK.
So what's happening now? The Mini Bendi production line grows daily with more tooling, infrastructure and staff and we aim to double output capacity by December, which is a tall order but a customer driven necessity. The same has to be said of the Longloader production line as it's taken off with equal success to the Mini Bendi as customers gain the added benefit of handling long loads alongside the standard pallets in narrow aisles.
Articulated trucks are now an important sector of the lift truck market and what we've learnt through this recession is that their sales flourish in economic hard times due to very nature of what they offer and that's why we live by our mantra, "Anything else is a waste of space, time and money".
