Strategic management change at Meachers

Meachers Global Logistics has announced a restructuring of its board as the final part of a three year strategic plan. Stuart Terris will be appointed managing director, replacing Bob Terris who will move into the role

Meachers Global Logistics has
announced a restructuring of its
board as the final part of a three year
strategic plan. Stuart Terris will be
appointed managing director,
replacing Bob Terris who will move
into the role of Chairman. The move
is effective from the 1st November
2011.
In addition, Clive Broadley, who has headed the Freight Forwarding division will retire at the end of October 2011, but will be retained as a consultant advising the board on international activities.
The changes represent the final phase of the strategic plan the company set out 3 years ago, which included the organisation setting out new strategic direction, rebranding into Meachers Global Logistics and instigating a succession plan for the senior management team.
