More torque transmission

Interroll's PolyVee drive solution combines RollerDrives (24V DC drives), 3500 Series roller conveyors and multi-rib belts to form a functional unit which is claimed to be of unrivalled quality. The RollerDrive transfers the power via non-slip multi-rib belts to the 3500 Series roller conveyors, featuring PolyVee drive heads with nine grooves.

The new system is reported to be capable of achieving up to 300% more torque transmission compared to standard round belts and the flexible design of the multi-rib belts makes the system particularly simple and efficient to assemble, even when it comes to integrating the new unit into existing installations.

Thanks to the consistent level of tension maintained by the belts, both acceleration and braking are said to be shorter and more precise than in conventional systems. Even delicate products can be handled with maximum efficiency thanks to zeropressure accumulation control.
