New cold store cab
18 June 2013
With the cost of storing pallets in a Cold Store being up to three times higher than in a conventional ambient warehouse, any small reduction in the space required can dramatically reduce costs.

The new Bendi Arctic, with its innovative full cold store cab, can show up to 50% aisle reductions which in turn means that the size of the cold store can be reduced by 30% or the amount of pallets stored can be increased resulting in less empty space and therefore less wasted energy cost.
Customer demand for faster inventory turnover has required cold storage facilities to become true distribution operations, and as a result, food manufacturers and distributors are looking to increase efficiency in the cold supply chain. The new Bendi Arctic, which has been specifically built for the cold store environment, will help to reduce the overall cost of cold storage due to its 1.6m aisle performance, whilst also offering great space and time savings in a comfortable, heated, enclosed cab.
