Meachers extends contract with Huhtamaki
15 October 2013
Meachers Global Logistics has extended its contract with one of the world’s largest packaging companies, Huhtamaki, by a further three years and has also taken on all of the organisation’s UK external warehousing.

The new contract will see the logistics firm continue to run a significant number of full and part loads across the UK per day utilising part of its large fleet of articulated lorries and trailers.
UK supply chain manager at Huhtamaki UK, Gary Owen, said: "Meachers has continued to provide Huhtamaki with an excellent service throughout the contract period. Our decision to re-appoint was based on number of commercial factors, but primarily the close working partnership we have developed over the last seven years. I have no doubt that they will be able to continue to deliver a high level of service over the coming years.”
