Storing sensitive equipment
02 December 2016
A large energy supplier has turned to Herchenbach for a temporary building to store sensitive equipment.
To comply with new emission standards, one of the firm’s electrical generating complexes was scheduled to go through a 24 months upgrade to bring the plant into compliance. As part of this, environmentally sensitive equipment was being brought in that needed to be covered and protected in a controlled environment – both temperature and air humidity were critical.
Herchenbach designed and installed a temporary building large enough to contain their sensitive equipment, and strong enough to withstand the harsh winters and rainy periods in autumn and spring. In addition, the requirement was for Herchenbach to supply a half a dozen non-insulated storage and workshop buildings on hire for 24 months.
