Door facilitates cleaning
02 March 2017
This Speedor (pictured), manufactured and installed by Hart Door Systems, has been fitted in a pharmaceuticals production facility in Cambridge.

The door was installed in a wash-down area for parts of the plant used in the manufacturing process.
Mark Richardson, south east sales manager, said: “Essentially a door was required to meet the air pressures within each room and maintain a clean room standard environment.
“A particular feature was that the door had no surface mounted cables with all of them being fitted in the door hood before installation on site. This facilitates cleaning. The 1800 mm wide x 2100 mm high door is also fitted with a door mounted, overhead safety sensor.”
