Quiet MHE for unloading in cities
01 March 2018
Toyota Material Handling UK will showcase a range of solutions to support the transport industry and changing consumer demands at the Commercial Vehicle Show 24–26 April 2017 at NEC Birmingham.

On stand 3A64, Toyota will be showcasing a selection of trucks which are suited to supporting the transport and haulage industries. Whether it’s the movement of loads in distribution centres or loading and unloading from the back of delivery vehicles, Toyota’s range of innovative solutions will help to improve the efficiency of operations.
On stand there will be a ‘quiet zone’ featuring the BT Lifter Silent hand pallet truck and the BT Levio LWE130 powered pallet truck. The BT Lifter Silent Hand Pallet truck has been designed to operate at less than 60db and the BT Levio LWE130 powered pallet truck operates at 62db. Due to their low noise levels, they are suitable for use in quiet operations or noise sensitive areas such as residential areas or out of hours deliveries.
Jon Buckley, Commercial Director at Toyota Material Handling UK, comments: “The transport and distribution industry is an important sector for Toyota. As members of the Road Haulage Association we have developed a good understanding of the industry and how we can help our customers to improve their operation. We understand that the needs of this industry are changing and deliveries are increasingly required out of business hours. The BT Lifter Silent and the LWE130 were developed with these requirements in mind and we are proud to feature these on our stand at the event.”
The Toyota team will also be on stand to discuss any materials handling requirements and provide the best solution to support operational needs.
Buckley adds “Our Toyota team will be on hand to show visitors the quality and reliability of the Toyota range. Each member of our team is experienced in materials handling and will be able to discuss any operation with a customer and advise on the best solution to benefit their business”.
