Bendi at CeMAT: Save space, time and money
15 May 2014
Bendi, the company that brought the articulated forklift truck to market in 1983, is forging ahead with new concepts at CeMAT.

Simon Brown, Managing Director of Bendi commented: "The current Bendi range has something to suit almost any site, layout or budget. Our range works in the narrowest aisles, the highest racking bays and the most demanding multi-shift operations. If you need to reduce storage space in order to increase the amount stored, or reduce the space you store it in, there is not a more cost effective way to handle pallets on pallet racking."
Bendi is without doubt the global market leader for articulated forklift trucks after successfully breaking into important market places throughout the world and as predicted in 2012, European interest in the Bendi articulated fork truck range has grown considerably, leading to a number of key deals in 2013 and the introduction of strategic Dealer partners in France, Holland, Belgium and the Nordic countries. This means we have fantastic opportunities for potential dealers in Germany.
The innovative design of the Bendi also results in increased operating efficiencies and reduced costs. Designed to operate outdoors, double handling is a thing of the past as the Bendi takes the product direct from the vehicle and straight to the racking or production areas, which means savings in time and further investment in other vehicle types. Compared to a typical VNA application, it is not uncommon to reduce your materials handling fleet by 50%, plus expensive and often restrictive guidance and super-flat floors are not required.
The extensive Bendi range of products includes the B3 and B420 with three and four wheel configuration to cater for the majority of applications. Able to accommodate Euro Pallets in an aisle width of only 1.8m and lift to heights of over 12.5m, these innovative and hard working machines are the core products in the impressive Bendi line up.
The multi-award winning Mini Bendi pedestrian articulated truck is much smaller and lighter yet still offers superior levels of safety and functionality and the Bendi Longloader can easily accommodate both long and awkward loads as well as standard pallets.
New products for 2014 include the Bendi Arctic, complete with innovative full cold store cab and a world first; the Bendi Order Picking Articulated Forklift, which amongst other benefits allows ‘self replenishment’.
Designed and manufactured in the UK and distributed worldwide, Bendi has ramped up production at the UK manufacturing facility in Redditch, Worcestershire to accommodate the new products and to allow for increasing volume in existing lines globally.
